I want to build a library of my PC games using GameEx to browse them. I don't even want to be able to launch into the games, I just want to build a nice looking library to browse with game art and descriptions, etc. Is it possible to add games to the GameEx database without actually having the game present on the computer? In other words, how can I add a game to a list without referencing any .exe or other file?

Has anyone done something like this before? What did you do? Any suggestions for where to get the cover art, descriptions for PC games, etc.? Thanks.

You could make a map file and put dead links in place of the rom, then it would just fall back to GameEx if it was launched. Thats how I would do it anyways.

Edit: aww snap! Tom beat me to it. :)
