JBoy77
I have seriously exhausted all the options I know of to get Supermodel working in my registered version of GameEx. Could someone point me in the right direction. I currently have Model 0.3a r271.
DazzleHP
Hello JBoy77,We're going to need a bit more information - help us to help you What options have you tried? Does the emulator work outside of GameEx? What exactly is happening within GameEx? Lastly, we will need to see your GameEx.ini (found in \GameEx\CONFIG\ ). You can attach it to your reply by hitting the More Reply Options button at the bottom of the reply box.
JBoy77
I have read most if not all of the guides relating to adding outside emulators and I still can't figure it out. Yeah the emulator works amazingly outside of GameEx. I just need some way to play the Model 3 online for a racing game night I am having at my church. I need to be able to link a game up to other PCs, that is why I am using GameEx. I though it could help me out. GameEx.ini
hansolo77
GameEx at chuch not sure how God would feel about that On topic though, I'm not sure you can link Model 3 in emulation. I've never tried though. What emulator are you trying to use? I can only provide you soft support here. I do not currently emulate Model 3 on my system (insufficient power). The best I have is Model 2, Atomiswave and Naomi. If it works outside of GameEx, configuring GameEx to work with it is a snap. But if your primary goal is to establish a LINK type game, you'll have to get more into the technical side of the emulator itself; GameEx doesn't support any kind of native networking to enable that function. Tempest
To be clear, if the emulator has command line support then getting it going should be 'a snap'. If not it would require that a loader be written.Edit:It should work from the command line. This is all of the info I have in my notes regarding M3.[Arcade] Sega Model 3 (Supermodel)DownloadUrl1=Supermodel_0.2a_Win64.zipDownloadUrl2=Supermodel_0.2a_Win32.zipWebsite=http://www.supermodel3.com/http://www.supermodel3.com/AdvancedUsage.htmlCommand1=Supermodel.exe "[ROMPath]\[ROMFile]"Command2=Supermodel.exe "[ROMPath]\[ROMFile]"Edit 2: I might as well post the import config. Please confirm that it works. You won't be able to download emulator through GameEx. As always make sure the paths and exe name are correct.Arcade Sega Model 3 (Supermodel).ini Edited April 18, 2014 by Tempest More info than I knew I had. :-)
