Hey... i don't wanna receive anymore emails from threads i haven't subscribed to...shitting IPB...rubbish!... the Control panel seems parsimonious of spirit and severly lacks and hardcore functionality, glad i sacked it myself years ago... if you ever get the chance dont waste anymore money on this pile of puss and get yourself vB... IPB will die soon anyways... so, delete my account please, this things gotta go...

Hey, I just turned it off myself, pretty easy to do. It is a little annoying that the default setting sends e-mail every message your subscribed to. But it's not just this forum, seems to be like that on a few other message boards too. Not a big deal to turn it off though.

For me the problem is that I don't receive any notification emails. It's turned on correctly in my account settings, but nothing seems to get through. There must be a spam filter somewhere in the mail route that's eating all the messages sent by this board.
