My feature requests concatenated

Tom, Just wanted to remind you of the features I am still eager to see. Hopefully others can chime in if they are interested too to help move them up the priority list.

requests:

1) Being able to specify start and end positions (in pixels) for width and height of the various text and image boxes, which would of course make them relocatable/resizable/scalable.

2) TWO or more (scalable/resizable) images available on the various screens. Most emulators support more than one image type.

3) VIDEO clip support as background for the custom emulators (not just mame and daphne).

4) Alpha Page up and down.

5) Being able to remove/hide the home button in the upper right.

6) Being able to toggle the multiple Mame categories instead of having them forced.

THANKS for implementing pretty much everything else I requested or was interested in. I am using GameEx exclusively now on my cab.

Could you explain what you mean by 6 please?

1 & 2 (Skinning) is still not a high priority for me, but is on my list.

I'll chip in for 4 and 5 also. As for 6, perhaps he's talking about MAME Multiplayer? I don't think there's a way of disabling it. I have a few more features I'd like to see but I'll respond to your GameEx Going Shareware thread.

I think 3 categories of MAME Games, Mame Favorites, Mame Multiplayer and maybe Mame Playstation (zinc) are forced. However CPS and NEOGEO are toggles. I decided to turn off all MAME list variants with the exception of Originals and Favorites, but I think I was unable to turn off one of the other ones. I was just suggesting they all be toggle-able. Say someone wants JUST favorites, or JUST CPS, or JUST Multiplayer (say for a tournament).

I just want to clean up my list and not have a bunch of extraneous categories up there. I have limited screen space with 640x480. I already eliminated a bunch of console emulators I used to have on my cab to shorten the list, and more may make that cut soon.

The problem is the more I think about it, the more changes I want, however small they are. Fortunately many others want the same things so I can be happy with some of their request too.
