First off, Wonderful job on this front end.

I for now am only using it with Future Pinball.

I am running in Desktop mode Single Monitor. (making it for my dad's new PC. He just likes playing tables so theres no need for a second monitor, etc.

I have enabled all three show additional info in the PX setup, and verified in the INI file the settings are correct. as seen below.

[interface]
DesktopModeEnabled=True
EnableAdditionalDetail=True
ShowSystem=True
ShowRatings=True
When looking at my XML for example on my first table in the menu list Everything is filled out correctly
Example:
<game name="2001_V200">
<description>2001</description>
<manufacturer>Gottlieb</manufacturer>
<year>1997</year>
<type></type>
<rating>4</rating>
When the table is selected on the wheel I see the Manufacturer and the Rating if it exists but I do not see the year as show in the Documentation file for pinballX on the Main forum. Has this not been implemented yet? I noticed the screenshot in the documentation shows a partialy opaque window with the table name, Emulator Program, Vendor Name, Rating and Year. I'd love to have this displayed. Anything I should check for?
I have attached a screenshot of what I see.
Thank you!

Dirtnap,

I'm betting it's due to the lack of real estate on the desktop version (as to why it wasn't included) or maybe Tom missed this. If you disable the desktop mode and rotate 90 degrees all the info should display so you can double check your XML is correct. (I know this is not the way you want to play with your head tilted). I can confirm I see the same thing when running in desktop mode so it's not your setup. I would post this in the PinballX Enchancements/Features Request.

Thank you for the Confirmation. I'm running 1920 x 1200 resolution in windows and have Full screen checked in FP and using the same resolution setup in FP. After setting to desktop mode and verifying the pinballx.ini has indeed changed to DesktopModeEnabled=False, It does not display the interface in landscape and I see no changes as in my screenshot. I can get it to go landscape by changing in Graphics Display 1 rotate 90 degrees. It seems redundant that you need to change it to desktop mode off, and then also change display ones settings. I would think a force desktop mode to off would launch it landscape without having to change the rotation setting as well. Just curious. Not sure if that is by design or not?

Putting the info in desktop mode as a toggleable option on/off option I think would benefit some as well for those not using this as a pin cabinet front end but just want a slick front end on a desktop machine. Maybe a scale the box down 50% in desktop mode.

I am so impressed with this front end that too many times no one says thanks. I encourage everyone that really uses and enjoys this mod to chip in some cash to help support the efffort. I just did and It is well worth it!

Thank you for all the hard work. It's getting better all the time!
