Hey guys - whatup.

Ok - so I've never had this problem before - but it sure as hell is irking me now.

For some odd unbeknownst reason its exclusive to GameEx and not Mame32 running independently.

USB trackball, spinner, and old school ActLabs light gun - all hubbed on a USB 1.0 hub together. In the middle of "you-name-it-but-specifically-Golden-Tee" games I get the familiar "dun-DUH" windows plug-and-play sound of an interface being unplugged despite no physical unplugging of any device. All of a sudden I lose my trackball, but not my spinner or gun. Or vice-versa. Its a crapshoot.

Ever happen to anybody? Any solutions? Power supply perhaps? (just upgraded incidentally). Any support, so greatly appreciated!

Sounds like a strange problem. Maybe try putting the usb hub into a different USB port. Does the hub have a separate power suppy, if not that could be a problem. Some USB ports don't have enough power to them so it's usually recommended to have a hub with power supply.

Does this only happen in GameEx and can you consistently get the same result? If so, does the same thing happen outside of GameEx?

get a usb 2.0 hub, and if your computer doesnt support 2.0 then get a 2.0 pci card. This will solve those 1.0 quirks

Hey guys - thanks for the feedback! I ended up getting a new hub with an ac adapter -- working like gangbusters.

Thanks again!
