attract mode is stuttering...

hi, im just having a weird quirk with the game ex attract mode... the games stop every 2-3 seconds for half a second, giving it a weird stutter. the attract mode videos play fine, so im guessing it's a mame issue? im not sure. all the mame games play fine.

im running the latest version of mame32/gameex, on a dell 1.7ghz, w/256ram. can anyone help with this? thanks in advance.

Could you try telling it not to play videos, and see if it's any better please?

Could you also post your log, so I can see what operating system and other hardware you have.

sure, turning off videos doesn't seem to have any effect. my log is attached. thanks for the help

Yes, I did take a look at your log and GameEx code, and for the moment cant figure why this is happening.

Ill look at it some more, please be patient.

thanks tom, ive just turned off mame demo modes for now, and it just plays videos for now, which is cool with me. i understand you do a *lot* of work on this, so i can wait
