Wanted to say thanks

Hi all, I just wanted to say thanks for all the folks who help users on the forum, and contribute to GameEx, you know who you are.. It sometimes gets too overwhelming for me to answer all the posts, although I try hard, believe it or not I do also work for a living, and have other stuff going on all the time!

Wanted to say feel free to let me know if you think I should be adding stickies, or updating the docs, or aything where it will help people, as well as the user feature requests.

I know there's a donation/shareware system in place, but as you can tell from the feature requests, and how I try to help, I believe GameEx should be highly shaped by the user base. Believe me, if I thought GameEx wasn't or can't be the best overall front end available I would not accept money. You guys help me enormously on my unrealistic goal of perfection

Hey Tom thanks for the support. And I am glad that people are using the databases and other projects of mine. Gameex was like my life this last winter. A lot of my spare time was spent on it and a few people have probably used some of my contributions.

I probably wont spend any time on it for a while now, unless some new ideas come about on how to improve my front end. Its getting warmer out and I should get off my PC.

The last thing I worked on in gameex was a couple of months ago, trying to get custom backgrounds for each emulator. Here they are.

Night.... take these PSD's if you want and modify them for your theme. Also if you have some systems done... can you send me the PSD's... cause obviously my list is incomplete and I dont have a lot of time to work on gameex now.

Ideally Tom, we would want all of the community contribute to what they want their custom backgrounds look like for each emulator (or have you make an executive decision on what images look the coolest). Maybe we can get these types of backgrounds in the build. Bear in mind I suck at photoshop. I smell a custom background photoshop competition.!!
