[RESOLVED] Launching Desmume from GameEx producing stuttery performance

Back again to come to the gods of good advice and all knowledge.

Desmume working perfectly when launch outside of GameEx.

When Launch from GameEx, stuttery performance - kinda like laggy or something maxing out. However, monitored CPU+RAM+GPU - all waaay below maxing out. Screenshot (blurgh - wish their was a way to resize images on this board):

Running without any plugins (disabled GameInfo) and emu settings look kosha. There is an AHK script running in bg, but desmume works fine when this script is running without gameex.

Puzzled! Feels like there's something interfering between GameEx + Desmume. Why can't applications just get along!?

Ini attached. Anyone any ideas?

Thanks

What happens when you run desmume from runitgame.bat? Start desmume from GameEx, then exit the emulator followed by GameEx itself. Next navigate to Start Menu > Program Files > GameEx > Utilities> Run Last Game. This will help to rule out whether this is a problem of fighting for resources. If desmume still has stuttering issues under runitgame.bat, it will likely be a problem with either your command line, or alternately (and perhaps slightly less likely) an issue with the way desmume is configured within the emulator itself.

Twas a good idea, null. No problems with stuttering when running from runitgame, outside of gameex. So, this infers GE + Desmume are crossing over somewhere? In the words of Bollo "I have a really bad feeling about this!" - funny thing is - i think my system's powerful enough to run both, to not limited by hardware.

Hmmm....bit beyond me this one..

Very curious! I did some hunting around, and it seems this problem has popped up a couple of different times. Several people seem to have reported successful resolution of the issue upon removing the Advanced Emulator Config selection. That might be worth a shot!
