I would like to run VP tables with Vp standalone and also with pinballX. so in the table init I have

LaunchBackGlass "whatevertable, True

which works fine when launching from VP itself, but seems to confuse Pinballx. I used to set to false when using HyperPin, but have changed to loading many tables with just VP so I changed to True.

I think I have an extra backglass loading when using pinballx. Is this true? any way to stop PinballX from loading backglass if already set to launch in script?

I think it has something to do with files ending with _B2S which used to force loading of backglasses?

I see a likke blue globe in hte system tray when I quit out of PinballX, but when I hover the mouse pointer over it, it disapears

Great program, Thanks

love the new video on the homepage

I am not sure what the issue is but I can tell you PinballX does nothing to interact with B2S itself. The icon you see may be the PinballX autoit script that bypasses the pinmame disclaimers. It should not do anything unless it detects a disclaimer.

The Script of the VP Table starts the B2S Backglass, not PinballX.

Am I right that the issue is that the Backglass stays on when exiting the Table with PinballX?

I recommend switching from b2s to db2s Backglasses anyway.

slydog,

You are correct in HP all the tables were set to FALSE, in PBX all the tables need to be TRUE. I still rename B2S tables with the _B2S in the file name but I'm not sure if that is still needed (might have been a carryover from HP). I don't see a blue globe on exit.

LaunchBackGlass "Dipsy_Doodle_(Williams_1970)_B2S", True 'True=Launch bg , False=Don't launch bg.

Unfortunately, not all tables have a db2s back glass, so I (and I'm sure others) have about 10 tables still with b2s.

slydog, what is a table/exe combo you are having issues with, I'll download it right from VPF and see what I get?

The only B2S table I'm still using is Fireball, and I don't recall having any problems entering or exiting with PinballX. Hyperpin could never handle that table exiting. I've switched everything else to dB2S, and that's always been flawless with Hyperpin or PinballX, either one.
