Hi all,

Found Gameex and seems ok, mame working really well, but I am struggling with the jukebox. I copied a few mp3 folders accros to C:\testmusic and although it lists SOME ot the folders, not all, for eg I created a new folder called "test album" but this doesnt show. Also it only lists artist not album, what is the proper folder structure? Also is there a way to refresh the list if say I copied some more over?

Thanks

These days, digital music uses tags in the mp3 or other formats to store the album, artist info etc. GameEx looks at these tags in the actual files and not folders on your hard disk to determine the info. It will automatically scan for new music and update the list, but you need to tag your audio collection. There's various software available that will do this automatically if you have your MP3's organised nicely in folders. You can also manually edit the tags in just about any audio player including Windows Media Player.

So basically as long as I rip a full cd then it should work?

Also is there a way to refresh the music list from within the program? What I plan to do is have my jukebox machine on a lan and copy music over from another pc so I need someway to update the music or is this automatic?

Thanks
