Hi Tom and everyone else.

Today I installed the newest version 1.69. Upon exiting a VP table my DMD stays on and the Ledwiz events stay on (Led's, flipper Led's, etc).

I reinstalled version 1.67 (I don't have a 1.68) and the problem went away. With 1.67 both the pinDMD and the Ledwiz clear when exiting a table like they're supposed to.

Something changed.

Back with previous builds, I was using pinDMD-CLR.exe and ledoff.bat (both to run as "launch after") but I haven't had to use these anymore with 1.67. They don't work with 1.69, I tried.

Thanks

I tried the exe that you posted. It doesn't work either. Both pinDMD and Ledwiz outputs stay on.

Thanks

I'm not so sure it is an issue with PinballX? Don't you normally have to do a launch after for those? PinballX has to force kill VP so that is probably the issue but its always done that.

OK

Today I tried a little experiment for Zeenon, and in doing so I have some more information on the problem I am having with the pinDMD and Ledwiz not clearing.

In version 1.69 if I leave the DMD set to "Visible" on the B2S Backglass then this problem goes away completely. Both pinDMD and Ledwiz clear as they are supposed to when exiting a VP table!!

If I set the DMD to "Hidden" like I normally have it, then my problem returns. The pinDMD and Ledwiz stay on and frozen in place.

Like I said earlier, this problem is NOT present in version 1.67.

Thanks

I didn't change anything on my end from 1.67 to 1.69. It works perfectly with 1.67

We have a WINNER!!!!

I did a real quick test as soon as I walked in the door and the DMD stays where it's put, and doesn't reset on a table exit.

(I used the last zip in THIS thread)

Zeenon and other Ledwiz/pindmd users..

Please test pinballx 1.70 with Pinbot VP. When I exit this table the ledwiz and pindmd stay on. I can't figure out why this table is different.

Grrrrrrrrr

Thanks

junky,

Which Pinbot the regular UW one or BMPR Mod?

Update: I'm pretty sure I have the BMPR Mod version which is a mod of UW's table. So fired it up, played a quick game, exited out and the DMD is still on. Now I still have the ledoff.bat and ledset.bat scripts in my pinballx.ini (see below). Give me a little and I'll disable the scripts and play again.

Update2: Yep, you are correct the DMD/pinDMD stays active. However all of my LEDwiz ports turn off exiting the table.

I don't have pinDMD but I do have LEDwiz. My LEDLights are staying on sometimes when exiting tables back to PinballX but it appears to be due to VP crashing on exit. If I take a problematic table and run it just from VP, not PinballX, VP often crashes on exit and my undercab LED strips says on. I am using the most recent VP betas.
