Sega Model 3 "Supermodel" and Zinc/Zenith Stretch to fit fullscreen 16:9

I have setup Sega Model 3 via Supermodel and Zinc via Zenith without any issues but how do I make them both stretch/fit fullscreen 16:9 rather than have the 4:3 box in the middle of the screen?

Is there some sort of .ini editing involved?

Thanks Fella's.

Not sure why ZiNc is doing that for you. Try these setting through Zenith, since we have similar monitors -

For Supermodel, you can change the resolution with in the cmd line -

Supermodel.exe "[ROMPATH]\[ROMFILE]" -res=1024,768 -fullscreen

@celly

I've tried both with the information provided but to no avail.

I've got a few hours to myself away from the missus later on tonight so I'll have another go at it.

With Supermodel, I actually had to tinker with the Supermodel.ini before I could get any appreciable change to resolution settings. Check the Config folder in your Supermodel directory:

...\Config\Supermodel.ini

And make your desired changes directly to the config file (remember to back up the file just in case!).

XResolution = 1280YResolution = 1024FullScreen = 1ForceFeedback = 1

I don't do the whole stretched resolution thing, so I'm not sure if Supermodel locks the aspect ratio or not. This thread seems to indicate that it doesn't.

Finally got Zinc working in 1920x1080, The Zenith Renderer Config X/Y resolution had to be changed manually. It was sticking at 800x600 for some reason. But I'm glad it's out the way.

Now onto Model 3.

@null,

I don't see anywhere to set those options in the supermodel.ini, Do they have to be manually inserted?

Here's a copy of my supermodel.ini

ps. Thanks to celly for the original advice :)

Hmm ... maybe it's a version thing? I see you're using 0.2a and for some reason I think I'm using 0.8a. I'm away from my gaming rig, so it's entirely possible that I'm not remembering that correctly but it sounds right. (Or maybe you are using 0.8 and the Supermodel team neglected to update the text in the ini). At any rate, yeah I say go for it. Back up your config file and have a go at adding the lines described above. The worst that can happen is that it won't work, and if that's the case just revert back to your previous settings.
