how to start

Hi. I am new user of pinballX

I'd like to play but I have some problem. Hoping someone can help me...

I have installed future e visual pinball

I have installed pinballX

I tried with game list manager to add the flippers. Nothing to do. Maybe I don't find the right package.

In fact when I try to open a flipper, it loads but come back to the wheel.

Then....

Where can I find the right package table to import? I tried many webpages but nothing to do.

When I'll find them, the game list manager is enough for import or i must to do something of more?

You sound very confused.

You need to have working versions of visual pinball and future pinball with ALL of the necessary files involved for each. After you have these programs running perfectly by themselves then you can start working on a frontend like pinballx.

I would start reading tutorials on using VP9 over on vpforums. Also read about FP over at gopinball.

The learning curve is pretty steep.

Yes I am because it is a madness what is all this. With mame u put the rom and everything works.

Reading around the web many people have problems with pinball emulator.

I am beginnig to be tired to try and try.
