In case anyone else is strapped for space on their cabinet like I was...I found a tool that can convert the PNG images to 1/4 of their original size with minimal loss. Most of the time the loss ends up making the image look better because it smooths out grain.

I'm not sure if I can post a link, but the tool is pngquant. You can drop an entire folders worth of images and it will compress all of them. For example, the entire Visual Pinball\Table Images folder from the FTP is over 1 gig of data, after compressing its 300meg. Hopefully someone else finds this as useful as I have.

I will certainly be looking into this. I don't need the space per se, but no sense in wasting it on my massive artwork collection for GameEx.
