Apply No Nag patch to Mame Plus 0.148?

Hi there! Can anyone explain to me, if it is possibile, how make the MamePlus 0.148 with the "No Nag screen" feature?

I'll just leave this here. This isn't an emulator I use, but those instructions seem pretty thorough. Be sure to read the entire thread, as the advice to compile using headkaze's MAME Compiler 64 is very good advice. Hopefully enough to set you on the right track. Good luck!

I would also like to just drop this here as it is the best guide (IMO) for compiling MAME from the command line yourself. Both null's advice in using HeadKaze's compiler and running the commands yourself are good practice - i just like to give people options You'll thank yourself in the long run for compiling yourself, whichever method you choose

Actually, i'm having some problems with the plus version... It doesn't work on my mame-pc, and i can't understand why... Other mame versions work. my aim was use the "command.dat" feature (i know that gameex with its plugin does the same thing but it seems to me less handy) ... Are there other versions that support this feature?My romset is at the 0.148 version.

its the easiest compile-tool i have seen and it got a lots of extra stuff, like cleaning up the MAME .dat file.

i also like the app from Headkaze, as it have nearly the same functions, but concentrate only on compiling.

I didnt want to upset you headkaze.... I still like MC64, especially for beginners, who never did that before.

I use many different MAME versions and like the features of MCAS to handle the different versions. the including tools to alter the MAME .dat file are the reason, why i decided to use it primarly.

without MC64, i would never started to compile MAME versions to my like.
