Hi guys.

Is it at all possible to get Pinball FX2 Tables to load up along side visual pinball tables on the main screen once you start up PinballX.

I taken me 2 days to find out, i had to select a table and then select Pinball FX2 Tables in-order to see and select the tables.

It be ace if you could see all the tables when you start PinballX and then have the option to only view Visual Pinball, Future Pinball or Pinball FX2.

no no,

i can get it to work but i wall see all tables from visual pinball, future pinball and pinball FX2 all on once screen.

That video is only showing Pinball FX2 tables on start up (which i know how to do) but i wanna see ALL tables on start up.

That does work. I have all of my 260 tables showing on startup from VP, FP, and FX2. I just can't get the fx2 tables to launch with the ahk.

If you have a PInball FX2 database folder with an xml called Pinball FX2.xml they will show in the menu with the rest.

If you want to filter the list you would make a copy of this and rename it to something different , like Zen.xml

Yeah i have a Pinball FX2 xml, other i would not see the tables at all.

Just they are showing up in a different menu and not with the others tables on the main menu when you start pinballx

God knows what i am doing wrong.

They should do though, that's all you need to do. Have you gone in and check you have All tables in the filters selected.

What filters? i see no option for filters within the settings.

I have all tables in the Pinball FX2.xml (after all i can see, select and start tables just fine within PinballX under the Pinball FX2 Tables)

Better still, here is a quick 1min screencast showing you the problem and explaining what i am after: http://somup.com/cIjibwsh

This should make things more clear (i hope), if not i will just give up and i have to select them within the menu when i wanna play them tables.

Ok. In the video when you go to your "filter" PinballFX2 they appear. You see that's all one word.

Your system name , folder & xml has to match. This is why you're not seeing them.

C:/PinballX/Databases/Pinball FX2/Pinball FX2.xml -- If your xml is named PInballFX2.xml you will only see that in the filter menu and they won't appear how you want them to.

[system_1]
Name=Pinball FX2

Hope you can make sense of that.

I realize I'm replying to an old post, but are there any plans to have the game manager support more than just future pinball and visual pinball? It's a much better experience using the game manager than editing an xml file. Would be great to see the game manager support "other systems" too.

Thoughts?

Now I feel silly. It appears the game manager does support "other systems". I just needed to create the folder and .XML file. I'm still learning! :-)
