Manually adding games to mame list

Is there a way to manually add mame games to the mame list that do not show up by scanning for game roms? i.e. can I manually add an entry for for a clone of a game?

won't aren't they showing up - the gamelists is used i believe as part of the catini and other mame related files... do the rom check list again within gameex and all games should be shown -

also check to see whether you have any options turned off like DO NOT SHOW CLONES, etc... that may also make certain games disappear, etc..

I'm having trouble getting all the games to display, things like Marvel vs Capcom, X-Men vs Streetfighter and a few other dont show up, the rom sets are clean and run in MAME fine, I cant work it out, I have tried updating the gamelists many times and they just wont show up

I'm getting this problem also. My marvel vs capcom and some others are not showing up.
