in the setup wizard, I found the new "instructions" command and keymapped it to the letter (i). Playing a table, it does nothing. Pressing (p) brings up the normal menu and the instructions can be picked there.

Along with this, is it possible to only have the instructions show up on the playfield, and then return to the table after pressing a key? When I return to play, the instruction card remains on the backglass with my DMD over top of it. Looks kinda silly.

Its for use when within the front end not in game. I added it because my cab has an instructions button ;) I think it was a HyperPin thing.

Ill look into what you said. I agree it probably shouldn't do that when in game.

Lets have a vote here. Should instructions show on the backglass or not? Ive set it not to do it in game for the next release but if folks think it should be removed completely let me know. I thought it was cool to show it on the backglass but if its causing a pain maybe it should be scrapped? Does anyone actually like this feature?

I actually like having the instructions shown on the backglass, as long as it can be closed so as to not cover up the backglass image.

I would prefer to be able to read it up on the back, while having a full view of the playfield to see what targets the instruction sheet refers to. Asking to much? Maybe, but that's just how I would like it to be... ;)

I'll second that ,just as long as the instructions disappear when you hit the exit key
