Hiya guys, just registered, I like GameEx, I tried Hyperspin but it was too complicated for me, GameEx is right up my alley! I plan on buying the Pro version, but had a few questions:

- I dont have any video/preview files for games yet, except the ones GE installs, I noticed the ones GE installs, only half the video plays when game is highlighted, other half is black screen, is this normal? How do you get the whole preview to show in the small box?

- I know various images and icons can be changed using photoshop etc, but the premium version states you get some kind of theme editor feature, is this easy to use? and are all aspects editable?

- In regards to my first question, video previews, where can I find these videos for GE? Getting them edited for each game would take forever, I wondered if there are archives somewhere or a good place to download?

- Does premium versions search feature make browsing much easier? Currently I have to scroll through 700+ games, getting to Z games takes forever.

Welcome to the forums. I can't answer the first two questions, but the best place to find videos is emumovies.com. Gameex has the ability to download the videos for you, but you will need to be a member of emumovies to use that feature, and possibly a registered user of GameEx.

Alpha Paging allows you to scroll through the list page by page, or letter by letter. That may be a registered feature as well.

I'm sorry I don't know for sure about whether the features are for registered users only, but I registered for GameEX 12 years ago and have never looked back. The program is awesome, and we have a great community as well.

Hey,

In regards to the Theme Editor, I would have to say it is pretty easy to use, but your best bet is to dive right in there and check it out. Any problem's you may run into or any questions you need fulfilling will be answered by our vast array of talent who float around these forum's. :)

The Theme Editor along with the Setup Wizard itself will provide the perfect experience for your need's as they are booming with features.

Also keep in mind that there are a quite a few logo packs and other media that have been submitted from various user's which may interest you.

Another quick question, can you reach emulators settings while within GameEx, or do you need to setup each emulator to your needs before launching? Also how do you remove Framerate display on SEGA Emulators within GAMEEX, even when I disable in fusion, GE still shows it.

Its best to setup each emulator outside GameEx to make sure they work, then launch within GameEx to confirm they also work.

Some emulators require extra tweaking and launchers etc..

Please upload your fusion.ini, log.txt and gameex.ini so we can take a look

One more thing I might note is that it's always best to open up a new thread when running into different problems, This way the post will be more recognised and will attract more users to help.

Thanks
