Adultery Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 Also, just for kicks (assuming you haven't already tried) take out the space from the file path and see if it makes a difference. If it does I'll look at a bug fix. Quote
Evilforces Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 Here is how I put exactly the command line.... Quote
Adultery Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 Hmm, well I know it works in my rig because the date of the last download was the last day I booted up the cab.Must be an issue with the space in the file path, but I'm not sure. Can you please try that and also try it both ways in cmd.exe to rule out a GameEx issue? Quote
Evilforces Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 Same problem with _ (without spaces)As I say before, if i put only the first part of the command D:\Utilidades\HiScore_Updater\HiScoreUpdater.exe I haven't errors. Quote
Adultery Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 Well that's because it's not doing anything. You changed the folder to use an underscore and the cmdline also I assume? Quote
Evilforces Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 Well that's because it's not doing anything. You changed the folder to use an underscore and the cmdline also I assume?Yes!!! Quote
Adultery Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 Ok. Can you try changing -mappath to -mpath ? Quote
Evilforces Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 Ok. Can you try changing -mappath to -mpath ?Same result, "folder does not exist" Quote
Evilforces Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 It's fully enclosed in quotes there.Try it in cmd.exe the way I put it. With CMD works like a charm, the problem is on GameEx. Quote
DazzleHP Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 Just to throw a curveball - are the permissions ok in the updater directory? Nothing has become Read Only somehow? With CMD works like a charm, the problem is on GameEx. EDIT: OK scratch that Quote
Adultery Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 Hmm... Try and put the file on the root of your C drive instead?Ahh Dazzle is ahead of me. Same idea though. Quote
Adultery Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 One other suggestion. Is the whole thing enclosed in quotes in the GameEx.ini? If it isn't, remove the outer quotes in a text editor and save it.I can almost guarantee the extra quotes are breaking it. 1 Quote
DazzleHP Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 I was gonna say the same thing lol If true then GX will add them back in and should work. Quote
Evilforces Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 The command line is not enclosed on Gameex.iniBut... How can I know if it works correctly?Maybe it's a problem only in GameEx verification page??? Quote
Adultery Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 Sorry I meant to drop the first and last quote and see if GameEx adds them back in. Quote
DazzleHP Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 To be clear, and if Adultery is thinking along the same line as me, then try: D:\Utilidades\HiScore Updater\HiScoreUpdater.exe" -type 0 -mappath "D:\Utilidades\HiScore Updater\HiScore.map As your command within GameEx (using your original as an example). The first and last quotes are gone. If correct, GameEx will add them back in and complete the command Quote
Adultery Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 You'll know it works if you delete or move the map file that's in there and see if it downloads one. Quote
Evilforces Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 Ok some things:To be clear, and if Adultery is thinking along the same line as me, then try:D:\Utilidades\HiScore Updater\HiScoreUpdater.exe" -type 0 -mappath "D:\Utilidades\HiScore Updater\HiScore.mapAs your command within GameEx (using your original as an example). The first and last quotes are gone. If correct, GameEx will add them back in and complete the command I tryied this option before you say that... The external quotes only appears in the verification page, but not in Gameex.ini.If I put the correct quotes on command line, the command line is correct on Gameex.ini, but not in the verification page.I'll try to delete the map file, and see if Gameex update it.... Adultery Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 Oh so you haven't even tried it yet? I never make it to the last page of the verification thingie. Haha!Ya I would just try it. 1 Quote
Evilforces Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 Ok, It's definitely a bug in the verification page on GameEx Setup Wizard.Deleted map file, enter GameEx and it download another map file on the folder. Quote
DazzleHP Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 Oh so you haven't even tried it yet? I never make it to the last page of the verification thingie. Haha! Ya I would just try it.
