I use dualview as the option in my NVIDIA card to work with my PC connected to a monitor and to a TV at the same time.

The connection to the TV is virtually the right side of the monitor.

In order to see application on my TV (such a MCE) I drag them to the right side with my mouse.

The funny thing is that I cannot do the same with GameEx, it seems to be blocked.

This is a problem for me, cause every time I want to switch to My Games via MCE I do not see the picture on my TV (but rather on my PC monitor).

Try setting the Display On Secondary setting in GameEx configuration under Display Settings.

Your suggestion has worked.

I am able to see game ex console on my TV, but when I launch games via it, I get them on my primary display (the PC monitor),.

I read that you had a similar problem, but I am not thrilled with switching diisplays for every game with a third party tool, doesn't it work in anyother way?

The only alternative is to make your TV the primary display, permanently, by using the Windows display settings. Then everything should show up on your TV by default.

Some emulators like Mame and Nestopia (and GameEx itself) allow you to select which display they use, but most don't - most just display on the primary display. I don't think there is anything GameEx can do to change that.

Using Ultramon or VidRes only switches the displays when you enter and exit GameEx, not for every game you play. It works very well for me.

making my TV a primary a display is hardly an option for me since I have to use the PC for regular usages as well (internet, office, etc.), I am using DualView exactly for the matter of Media Center only- and it serves me well, I have to say.

When you say that MAME allows to select which display to use, and my games are all MAME Roms, invoked by mame.exe, then what parameter do I have to set to make it show on my secondary display?

This is any easy problem to solve if you're only using Mame. Just set GameEx to run on the secondary monitor and add this line to your mame ini file:

screen \\.\DISPLAY2

or add this to your mame command line:

-screen \\.\DISPLAY2
