scrolling through mame game menu

Hi Guys,

got mame configured through gameex, working well. Question is can you skip by letter or page with an assigned button? if so how do you configure that and where?

as I have a 1000 games, and when I access "all games" I can only scroll by one at a time using the UP and Down button. My cabinet has a controller connected via ipac so I can hit random buttons corresponding to various letters but this is not correct.

I have assigned page down and up but these don't scroll either.

any suggestions?

I tried with the below enabled and disabled and I still cant page down to the next letter. I have page up and page down assigned to 2 of the controller buttons and they don't do anything

alpha paging = yes

enable letter select = no

any other suggestions?

worked it out, didn't realise that I had to hold down the button assigned to paging down whilst hitting up or down
