I have some roms that I wanted to clean up that are for the Sega Genesis. They still have all the extra letters and symbols after the names of the roms. I was wondering if there was a easy program to use to clean up the names and to make sure all the names are correct?

Thanks,

James

Turning on the "merge sets" option in advanced emulator config may accomplish what you're looking for too, depending on how your ROMs are named.

And if the previous solutions don't cut it for you, you can always use CLRMamaePro or ROMLister to cleanup/rebuild your ROM set using the No-Intro naming convention. All you need is an up to date .dat file from the No-Intro site for the ROM set you wish to properly name. Just throwing that out there to you as another option. Happy gaming!
