paulmichel21 Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 The frontend is great, everything is programmable even so in my humble opinion it would be great to add a touch artisico the menu.It occurred to me that it was in flash and as it is being configured or adding emulators this. Swf is modified only. On the other hand I ofresco to make a movie style presentation in focus after. That would make it very competitive because Hyperspin frontend others are visually very nice but to set it have to know much of autohotkey and programming. It is a humble opinion since I love GameEx and I congratulate you for this great work you have done as well as the help and hansolo Adultery, nullpointer, draco, tempest, headkaze, krc, etc ...impressive.and thanks for letting me be part of your community. My name is Paul and I live in Buenos Aires ARGENTINA.
nullPointer Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 Thank you for being a part of our community Paul! As you may have noticed GameEx is updated fairly regularly to include even more awesome features. Tom is exceedingly crafty at figuring out ways to make GameEx even better than it already is, and the regular update schedule really bears that out. Several of us here feel that this is in stark contrast to pretty much every other frontend out there - which are either very seldomly updated or haven't even received updates in a very long time. The stylistic goals for GameEx vary slightly from most frontends out there today, insofar as GameEx should feel equally at home on a cabinet as well as an HTPC. There are several fantastic themes available should you feel like spicing things up a bit (our theme competition is a great place to start). Having said all of that, remember that GameEx is constantly updated. Stick around, and you might be surprised at just how far GameEx is capable of going on the graphical front! Glad to have you here Paul!
helpman Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 Hi there Paul!As I think you won't be able to understand english, I'll rather write in spanish... as your message looks like translated by an online translator and I guess you're using a translated version of the forums If you have any doubt and you can't understand the text or don't know how to write something just drop me a message and I'll translate it for you. An online translator is not bad, but believe me that thing you posted is at least a bit difficult to understand Gameex's full of possibilities Greetings from Spain! Hola Paul!
helpman Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 Ok, paul, traduzco tu mensaje a ingles So, on his last message paul explains what he tried to say on the first message "What I want to mention up there is that it would be great to make a flash menu that could be modified as you setup it as it would give it a one-of-a-kind finish as nobody has it. On another hand I offer myself to create an opening in adobe after focus that would greatly draw your attention... today people is attracted by the eye-candy and gameex is an excellent frontend but visually speaking it has been left behind, if you know what I mean. And I would like to be a part of this incredible software and give my 2cents to help it grow further"
