noob question

I cannot get Gameex to launch no matter which version of mame I use. The latest Mame build that I have tried was 0104b and this is what I got. Can someone point me to a setup guide or thread.Thanks in advance

1)Are you using the latest build of gameex,v5.78? because I believe gameex should start even without mame installed.

2) it looks like what ever version of gameex you have can't find the mame.exe,check your path to the mame.exe in the config app

3)is it an official build of mame or custom build?

Hi bigyouth!!

Chek your config in gameex. Your mame exe are not corret, the correct exe is

mame32.exe, in your log you have "f:\mame", that its the folder, not the exe. That its your problem and the log say it "Invalid MAME Executable".

Change this in your gameex config and it will run. Try it!!
