Help with volume please

I'm still having volume issues. I did some tests. I installed the newest version of Mame, version 0104b. When I run a game in Mame from a command prompt I get the loud sounds from my games. When I run the same game through GameEx the sound of the same game is considerably lower even when my GameEx menu volume is high. The clicking and menu select sound is 4 to 5 times louder than the mame games. Any help with this matter is HIGHLY appreciated!!!!!!!

Try removing "-vol -32" from your mame command line option.

I've also noticed low volumes in my mame games. I'll check out my logs tonight and see if there is anything in the vol command as well.

check the MAME audio mode under audio settings, I suspect that got changed somehow. Thats what puts the -vol in the cmd line.

In the audio setting in mame my volume is listed as 0. When I run a game in Mame outside of GameEx the audio is fine. It is only when I run a game in GameEx that the volume is low.

In Mame only and in a game, when I press the ~ button, volume is listed as 0db. When I run the same game through GameEx and I press the ~ button, volume is listed as -32db. This is why I assumed the error is in GameEx and not Mame itself.
