This is what I have used for the bat file.

The bat file is in the vp folder where the exe is, the bat if pointing at closing vp which does work outside of gameex.

C:\GameEx\Emulators\Visual Pinball\taskbat.bat

Try:

Start "" "C:\GameEx\Emulators\Visual Pinball\taskbat.bat"

That works closing vp in gameex but the cmd is left open.

Plus is there a way for vp to close with out having to tell it in the popup menu for the editor?

Try adding "exit" to the end of the bat file.

I don't use emulators so not sure. I'd have to do some testing.

As far as it not exiting the editor, it's cuz it you need to use the advanced config included with the loader and point to it in Setup Wizard. What it does is send the necessary keys to exit the emulator.

Visual Pinball Loader:
This is a loader to hide the windows that open when VPinball is executed. Inside the .7z, you will find:
[Mapping Off] Exit (ESC+Q).ini - Advanced config (Copy to: GameEx\CONFIG\EMULATORS)
VPinball.ini - Emulator Config (Use the 'Import' Button - Make sure to check your paths)
VPinball.png - Image used to hide VPinball (You can use your own image, make sure it's named VPinBall.png)
VpinBallLoader.exe - Loader Program

Ok after fReqEnCy and I have tried a number of different settings and batch files (thanks), there was one I did not try,

re-download and reinstall the launcher step by step again.

Now I can get it to work but this time gameex loses focus after escaping a table and returns to desktop minimized.

This I have no clue on what to do.

Hi, sorry for the delay in stepping in. I don't think Launch after will work for exiting the emulator as it will only run after the system has existed. So it wont close it. An advanced config or just using the map back setting would be the way to go. GameEx should have no problem closing the process.
