I am using Windows 8 Pro 64 bit on all of my PCs, however I have a dell laptop with Windows 8 Pro 64 bit on it and it opens full screen. I have two other desktops with same OS and they do not.

Are you using a custom start menu button or something that would interfere with normal windows operation in that way?

Nothing like that I don't think. Ill mess around with it some and see if I can figure something out.

I am pretty sure it is something like that. I've never seen this issue on various win 8 x64 pro and enterprise setups.

Does it startup full screen or is the taskbar always visible?

It starts up full screen and then when the stream starts it pops up. It's almost like I have to click on it for it to become active.

You need to extract the contents of the zip to the folder slingfront is installed in.

Awesome! I was using Slingfront with great success until it switched to zoom 4:3. How can I switch back to 16:9? It is fine on chrome. Thanks!

It's the same as when I update. The screen won't go black if I click on the stream more than twice, but the taskbar doesn't go away when I double click like slingfront 1.41.

Check which keyboard shortcut is assigned to the zoom - most likely it's Z, so press the Z key to cycle through. I'm guessing at some point you hit Z without realising.

I figured out the taskbar issue. I did some searching on the internet and people with google chrome had the same issue with the full screen browser. I changed the size setting in the control panel to 150% because I have it connected to my TV and wanted everything to be larger and that's what causes the taskbar to always show up when opening sling front. Below is a link for people using chrome with the same issue. I'm not sure if you can come up with a work around or not. Maybe ill just change the size setting back.

Edit: Changing the size to 125% fixed my problem. Ill just use that. Thanks for the help!

Anyway someone could help me out and make a key mapping for favorite channels? The default key map is "v" for the web player. I would appreciate it. I tried adding to the keyboard.vb. What other files do I have to change?
