I've been trying to push a full update of my mame roms using a wide variety of settings but no matter how often I un-install Gamex, re-install it and the same for Mamepp x64 I'm only getting 200 roms in all mame menus showing up.

My initial install was messy but gave me all my roms on initial setup but after purging and moving things about I'm stuck bad.

I used Gamex like 3years ago and returned to it recently but can anyone point me to any cache locations or such that may be interfering.

GameEx has detected a touchscreen on your system and automatically enabled the default touchscreen features. You need to go into the setup wizard and disable touch screen support. By default its on if GameEx detects a touch device.

You know something, that'll be the wacom bamboo tablet driver possibly triggering that. Same USB system and virtual device set as an actual touch screen. I'll try this once more when I get home tonight, seems to make sense to me that'd cause this at least! Many thanks, I'm sure this thread will help others how may (v.rarely I'd imagine) come across the same problem.
