When you move forward again, everthing is still invisible although you can select choices by hitting the appropriate button!!! Anyone finding this error?

I have noticed the karaoke plugin will support .kar karaoke files. If i click them with out gameex running they play fine in windows media player (words and music). However gameex does not regonize/support them as a karaoke file type. Tom can we get this file type added?

Thanks. And karaoke was a great addition.

I can't duplicate this behaviour. Could you post a screenshot? Are you using 5.77?

Yeah, Isn't there a way to create the screen shot? I found that this error works only in the queues mode, and I found what happens is that after a song plays you have to manually clear it from the list or it contiues to play over and over as well. This does not happen in click to play mode.

Hi Tom, I found another issue with the karaoke player. "My wife likes this new function, that's why I seem to be in it so much!!" In the "click to play" mode I found that if you go out of karaoke and out of multimedia and then try to return to the karaoke, there is nothing listed in the multimedia folder. The only way to correct this is to do a software restart.

You asked for a snapshot of the screen when this happens. Is there somewhere posted an explanation of the how to create a snapshot? I'll send you one. Thanks!!!!

I really can't get it to go wrong my end. Does it do it everytime, or after playing a song, or what? You can take a screenshot by pre4ssing the Print Screen ket, then pasting in Paint or another image program.

Anyone else having similar issues, or can it anyone confirm its working fine?

Ok, I made some changes and here's what happened. I made a menu change to use flat menus. So everything is listed on the main frontend page. I have several applications listed on GameEx one in particular, Arcade Jukebox 8. Karaoke is listed just below it in my list. When I go into karaoke now play a song and back out of it, both the Arcade Jukebox 8 and Karaoke are no longer on my list. I cannot see them nor can I move into the spot where they used to be. I checked my log and it looks fine, if you like I can post it.

On taking a snapshot, when I get that page I want to take a picture of, I pushed the printscreen button but nothing happened. Any other suggestions?

After pressing Print Screen you then need to "Paste" it into an image program such as "Paint".

Could you post your entire log please.

Thanks.

Look at the mame audio option under audio settings for the volume issue.

And your still getting the karaoke issues with the latest version?

A screen shot would be very helpful.

Anyone else having issues with Karaoke?

The Ladies seem to like it so its in your interest to get it working right :)

I agree on the "Ladies" part. Yes I am still having the karaoke issues but still cannot figure out the printscreen thing. When I click printscreen in GameEx nothing happens and there is no pointer to right click with. Is this were you are talking about pressing the printscreen button? With no mouse pointer it makes it hard to right click. Thanks

Tom, last night I was so fustrated with what is going on that I finally deleted GameEx and reinstalled it in another directory. I tried the volume again and it seemed to be correct and tonight I will try the karaoke. Funny thing it is, and what is even odder is is that I have nothing on my arcade machine except arcade related stuff. I will test tonight and post what has happened after. Thanks for all of your time and help.
