Does GameEx run smoothly with latest AMD Radeon video cards?

I read in the FAQ section of the GameEx website that GameEx can run slow when used with ATI video cards becuase of problems with the ATI drivers. However, the faq said this was as of 2007 and I was wondering if anyone knows if GameEx runs smoothly with the latest AMD Radeon HD cards. I am upgrading my video card and was thinking of getting the AMD Radeon HD 6670 video card.

Hi dave38 and welcome!

That disclaimer was probably for a particular release of the drivers. I remember around that time, before i even joined GE that AMD released a particularly bad set of drivers that caused problems with many programs and games, not just GE. I have an HD5750 and GE runs perfectly smooth on highest settings, I'm sure there are many others here using ATI cards too (i can't be the only one surely!). I would say go for it! :)

I'm using the HD 6570 and everything runs fine with that card. :)
