wkupike2000
Sorry harder to see since I'm not at home(work pc won't let me do much). MAME Audio mode setting in the GameEx setup? Where did you detect this? Probably going to kick ourselves(those that helped me) for not seeing it.
Tom Speirs
PS: MAME Audio mode under audio setting is how MAME should run when live. The setting under screensaver is how the audio works when it is run from the screensaver. One of the options will set the volume to -32 which is default for screensaver but NOT for live. this setting got changed on your system. Again its not a bug its a setting for if folks that want no sound but the jukebox to play when playing a game.

wkupike2000
After spending at least 30 minutes walking through the setup line by line, over and over, and I still missed that one setting. I'm not sure I even knew it existed. Either way, that fixed it and all is well in the world.... I have volume again!!!! Thanks everyone for all the patience and help. This is resolved for me.
