Hey all,

Started using GameEX to setup my dream setup and it's going not too bad but noticed a few quirks:

1. In the Advance Emulator setup - I changed all of the settings (replace dashes, replace underscores, capatalise words, etc) to no, but for my SNES set (latest no intro set) I can't see the entire archive name (minus file extension, I don't want that to show) so instead I'll have more than one game to select from that are all the same name, so I will see the following in the SNES directory:

Actraiser

Actraiser

Actraiser

However, for every other console or handheld, I don't have this problem, so instead I will have the following, I'll use a GBA game:

Advance GT (USA)

Advance GT (Europe)

Advance GT (Japan)

So I can make out the region and if it is an alternate, some SNES games I can make out the region but odd this ONE system gives me a fit.

2. Where in the INI can I select my system configuration? It always defaults to medium in the setup wizard - I may have to do it in the INI but I dunno where in the INI the setting is.

My system specs are the following:

Intel i5 2500k @ 4.8Ghz

Geforce GTX 680

Asus Z77 Deluxe

Windows 7 Professional x64

There's a few other things I want to do, but no worries I'll figure it out or find a thread somewhere but these two things are really stumping me :( Thank you!

You might need to delete the cache files in the data folder. These will start with the name EMU_number. Delete all these files. If you have all the filters off they should show up correctly.

Although the dropdown box always states medium it will apply the settings if you change it.

I used Actraiser as an example, and I deleted the cache files and again no dice. If there is a tutorial or some guidance somewhere to build a database with a CLRMAMEPRO dat that will be more than enough.

And I took a look and sure enough it's looking better when you change the quality evne though it still says medium. Thanks!
