Newbie Can't get back my grid view of vids/snaps

Hi all I'm very new just started this last night. after hours of being overwhelmed with all the options in gameex i was finally getting close to having gameex look how I wanted it. I had a grid of video snaps if available or regular snaps if not under mame. i think it was a 4x3 or 4x4 grid. I think I accidently hit change view or some other setting and now I can not get that view back. i instead see lists of the names of roms with only 1 video / snap to the side. What I'd really really really like although not sure if it's possible, is to have just a grid and only a grid of all the vids/snaps of my roms and zero other menu items, but I'll settle for getting back what I had there.

you allready answered your question by yourself . you need to use the "change view" option from the menue and you need to use it that often, until you get the view you want. the view you want, exists two times, one in a larger version and one in a smaller version but with a little more "boxes". the "change view" option, has many different views, so just be patient and press it a few more times, until you get the desired look back.

sorry I've literally hit change view over a hundred times. if that's supposed to work then there is some bug where it's skipping over that view.

does each one of these views correspond to some file? if so I could delete the ones I dont want

ok I found a fix. i downloaded a new theme pure gameex from the gameex website. set that as my theme. at first i tried to delete all other themes but gameex would crash on start so i also kept default default theme. once in that theme I could change view back to one of the grid ones.
