[RESOLVED] Compiling Mame > Mamedev.org offline?

I was just about to start compiling Mame, but the website http://www.mamedev.org/ is offline.

You get the following message:
"We are in process of hosting movement you will be redirected to temporary domain until DNS is updated"

The redirecting to: http://mamedev.com.ar/ however doesn't work

Does anyone perhaps have any more info? How long will this take and is there perhaps a website which also contains all these files necessary to compile Mame?

I think it just depends on how well the transfer of hosts is going. Typically this sort of thing lasts no longer than a day, but who knows. Let's wish them luck and hope everything is going well for those guys!

So in terms of obtaining the files necessary for compiling MAME, the first thing you're going to need is the MAME source code. As far as that goes I can really only recommend downloading the MAME source directly from mamedev.org since they are responsible for maintaining the code base. I'm sure you could find the source code elsewhere, but how much do you trust those other sources?

Does the Mame compilier app still work for current MAME? I haven't compiled my own in years tho. Just curious
