So, I am preparing to build another arcade machine to add to my collection. Do I need to purchase the full version of GameEx for all of my machines or can I use the full version I have for both?

Naturally Tom has final jurisdiction in terms of licensing, but typically there are no issues with this sort of transference. So long as the other machine is owned by you and remains in your possession it should be fine. This question has come up a few times in the past:

I use my license on a dev machine and my cabinet. Its Toms call but what you're doing isn't all that uncommon. ;)

I have utilized the same key for install on my laptop and desktop and as Adultery stated, it's Tom's call. He hasn't seemed to mind much in the past.

Well I cannot speak for Tom. You got to remember gameex is freeware. Donating toward the project gives you a few extra features. If you have already donated then you get the exra features and should be able to on your pcs. But it doesnt mean give copys to your friends and sell it etc..

I have it installed on 4 pcs. Ive donated twice. Not because of the amount of installs I have but because the project is constantly evolving and I want to show Tom some gratitude and buy him a couple beers for working so hard on this project. The licence keys arent bound to one pc.. I just wouldn't abuse the system.

Ill chime in but Brian summed it up quite accuratly.

The main point is not to abuse it.

As long as we get new people register and it does not get abused, theres no need to change anything or get legal and stuff like that. I really am not greedy.

I mainly just want to keep the good thing we have going - going. Again just dont abuse it and also do the right thing. So as not to force any changes.
