nullPointer
So this is pretty much a blatant re-post, but I found this to be extremely good news for MAME enthusiasts. After having been down for months it appears that the source code for MAWS has been released over at MAMEWorld. http://www.mameworld.info/ubbthreads/showthreaded.php?Cat=&Number=297485&page=0&view=collapsed&sb=5&o=&fpart=1&vc=1&new=1356984084While I would love to see another online implementation of MAWS, I have to admit that after having done without for so long I’d be almost more interested in a project seeking to convert MAWS to an offline database / frontend. At least that way it couldn’t be knocked off-line via security flaws, and could be updated incrementally according to the MAME update schedule. headkaze
I can't really remember what exact info MAWS showed for each game but perhaps ControlsDat could be expanded to display more data.
Tom Speirs
I can't really remember what exact info MAWS showed for each game but perhaps ControlsDat could be expanded to display more data.It was mostly data from MAMEInfo and History.dat. Along with linking the clones..All the data is freely available outside of MAWS.
