[Resolved] No Galaga on Gameex

Hi Everybody,

I am able to play Galaga directly from MAMe 32 but it does not show up on Gameex. Found FAQ about games not appearing in Gameex and I have configured Gameex to play nonworking and imperfect games but it still does not show. Filters are off. Any ideas? Also left a post about themes not changing when I try to reconfigure. Perhaps the changes I tried making above not being recognized either? Thanks for any help.

Hello and welcome to the forums...

it seems that you havent configured GameEx with the setupwizard (its inside your GameEx folder).

your MAME Rompath is currently: RomPath=C:\Roms\MAME\Roms

i guess your Galaga rom is somewhere else, but not in "RomPath=C:\Roms\MAME\Roms"

first setup your GameEx properly with the setupwizard and tell us what happens then.

Thanks for the reply. I just corrected the ROM path in the emulator screen . However the ROM path was already set up correctly in the MAME settings screen and I have hundreds of other games games playing okay. My ROMS are in c:/emulators/mame32/roms and the Galaga folder is sitting right next to the Galaga88 folder which works fine in Gameex. Any other thoughts? Thanks for the help.

after that... you need to update your list again in GameEx inside your MAME section.

update your list in GameEx not in setup-wizard. start GameEx, go to your MAME section and update list.
