Nintendo WiiU

Anyone purchased this item yet? I bought a deluxe model on launch day. I enjoy not having to play on a television. Bought ZombiU,ME3,MarioWorldU,BLOPS2 and of course Nintendo land came with the bundle.

Ive purchased it for my eldest daughter for christmas as she eventually wore me down and I gave in, I got her 32gb Black premium ZombiU package, and also Super Mario U.

I'll probably have a little go on it when she opens it at christmas, but apart from that it doesnt interest me too much, as I wasnt a fan of the original Wii.

My last love for Nintendo was the GameCube.

I purchased this for myself but my son has played it more then me. Miiverse is very cool. The interaction while in game is very cool. I think it's a device you have to play with to enjoy. Nintendo did a poor job at marketing this console. I really didn't know what to expect but I'll admit I'm partial to Nintendo products.

I also heard that it's more powerful than 360/PS3 ?

I don't think it is more powerful that the PS3. It has a single processor and graphics combination - saying that - it is pretty nippy.

Nintendo Land is wonderful and the kids and myself had a lot of fun on sunday playing the Luigi Ghost game.

Also, the controller is rather good and works well. it is nice being able to browse the wii store without disturbing the wife's timeshifted watching of hollyoaks. lol.

It hasnt been wrapped up for christmas yet, so I think I might unbox it when i've got the house to myself, have a little go, and then box it back up.

Also I hope the WiiU gets better exclusive title's and concentrates on putting games out to attract adult gamers and not just kids. Resident Evil,Metal Gear etc..
