RIP-Felix Posted December 5, 2012 Posted December 5, 2012 I have an x-arcade tankstick controller for my arcade cabinet. I want to make the emulator exit combination to be hold the Player one btn down. Then while still holding player one, press the player two btn. In the wizard I can set both btns but GameEx will exit if one is pressed and then two is pressed, not only while one is still held down. Abviously this causes problems when you and another player are trying to enter the game at the same time. Is there a way to do what I am wanting? If not possable feature request?
Tom Speirs Posted December 5, 2012 Posted December 5, 2012 This is a bug. I will look at it. Are you referring to the global exit combo in the setup wizard or an advanced emulator config setup?
RIP-Felix Posted December 7, 2012 Author Posted December 7, 2012 Is there a way to do this in an advanced emulator config or another way until the bug is fixed?
Tom Speirs Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 It should be fixed in the attached.GameEx.zip
RIP-Felix Posted December 7, 2012 Author Posted December 7, 2012 The download installer seems to have problems. After unzipping and running it says "GameEx has stopped working" (Win 7 x64) And does not run. Perhaps this fix will rollover into the next update?
Tom Speirs Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 Its not an installer its a replacement file. You need to replace C:\gameex\gameex.exe with the file.
RIP-Felix Posted December 8, 2012 Author Posted December 8, 2012 Ok, that explains it. Thanks Tom it works perfectly now. Feel free to mark this thread [Resolved].
