[RESOLVED] Trouble loading config for WinUAE before launching game

Hi there,

I'm rather stumped as to how to make gameex load a config for WinUAE before launching a game. I have a config set up for WinUAE that works fine for Amiga 500 games like Alien Breed. Can anyone tell me what I need to put into the command line in Emulator Setup to load the config file before it launches the game? If not, can anyone recommend which would be the best Amiga Emulator to use? Thanks in advance

Had a bit more of a rummage round on net and decided to try WinUAE Loader. Does the job really nicely and can be downloaded from here: http://headsoft.com.au/index.php?category=winuaeloader

I don't know why I didn't think to suggest this when I originally saw your post. Headkaze (the author of WinUAE Loader) is one of our forum admins, and a regular around these parts. Glad you got it sussed! Nicely done.

With our latest work on the GameEx databases we are now including all the data required to launch WinUAE games that WinUAE Loader uses. So eventually you'll be able to run them without the need for WinUAE Loader
