MAME games display, but no others.

so, i've finally figured out how to get all my games to list, but now i'm having a problem playing them. MAME games work fine, but NES, SNES, and N64 won't display. they'll launch and i can hear the sounds, but i can't see anything. i've messed with the display settings as much as i can think to. i've set it at 800 X 600, 640 X 480, and also set GameEx to not change the resolution but nothing has worked. i'm running on a media center p.c. with just my t.v. as a monitor. any ideas?

Try Setting Show Desktop to = yes for each emu that does this in the config and see if that helps

You should check out this thread http://www.gameex.info/forums/index.php?showtopic=3 you will see a lot of configs for different emulators. This thread can also be reached on the first page of the forum as the second topic titled user submitted configs. This is a great starting point for setting up your emulators for the first time.
