I've tried it on my Notebook and didn't liked it at first sight.

It's a huge leap from previous Windows versions.

But after reading what Microsoft wants to change, I think that I will give a try very soon.

In Brazil , the upgrade is very cheap, and you can use the Serial Key in a new install.

So, for the price I'm going to upgrade it.

In my house I have 4 Windows 7 PCs.

One very old Pentium 4, with 2GB RAM, that Windows 7 ressurected.

Two Netbooks (mine and wife)

And my HTPC.

I'm only planing the upgrade on the HTPC, because of the boot times.

I already use an SSD on it, and the boot times are great.

But Windows 8 is even faster on a standard Hard Drive, I want to test it on a SSD.

But, I will only do that IF I see an improvemeent.

The upgrade from XP to 7 was done only becuase of the lack of HDMI audio on XP.

So, It's a long way to go.

I am interested about the surface. I will probably buy one if I can and put it through the business.

The Intel version of Surface should hit the UK by the end of May.
