HI! I have installed the last version of gameex but when i try to listen to any of the default radiostations or one that i put on the list ,it freezes my pc for one/two minutes and then returns to the radiostation selection.....and i can´t listen them.

any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

this usually means it cannot connect to the station. Check all internet settings/firewall settings/ and check that the station still exists at the URL that you have in the configuration. The best way is to copy the url to ie and see if you get a shoutcast webpage with music playing. This happened to me on quite a few stations, I just had to update them to the new URLs.

Good luck ^_^

Thanks for your quick response, FM. :)

I tried the above, but that didn't do the job. None of the default entries set by GameEx work, nor those that I put in my self. When I copy the URLs directly in to my browser they do work though. I noticed that they then launche WinAmp automatically, could that be the problem?

As has been said this means GameEx cannot connect to the station, so its normally an internet\connection issue. It should have nothing to do with Winamp. Do you have a firewall or something blocking GameEx, or are you using a proxy server. What type of internet connection do you have.

I know some of the default stations dont work anymore, but it seems other people are reporting this issue too.

Please post your log after a GameEx session where this happens.

Sorry Tom, didn't visit the forum for a while.

I'll post a copy of my log tonight (CET).
