I have an X-Arcade and for it to work properly, NumLock has to be on.

I'm going to use my laptop in my cab, so it's very unconvinient having to "activate" the numlock everytime I start GameEx. (On my Acer, this is done by holding two keys).

I don't know if this is already in GameEx, but it would be good to have "also launch", "send keys" etc that you have for the emulators also for GameEx itself. This way, I could just add "[NUMLOCK]" in the "send keys" for GameEx.exe

Please advice and feel free to add this to feature requests if it is one.

Setting Num Lock to be on by default is normally something you can do in the BIOS, no?

GameEx does already have options to launch stuff at startup (also launch), so you could probably use one of the available macro or scripting tools to do this.

The reason I don't want Windows to start with Numlock is because I can't use my keyboard normally (i.e. some keys will be numbers).

So where in the GameEx configuration can I set also launch for the GameEx program itself? The easy way out is to reconfigure my X-Arcade to use non-numpad keys, but I'd rather not.

You can still do this by using AutoIt or something similar, compiling the script and telling GameEx to launch the script at startup. You just need to do a little investigation into AutoIt or say AutoHotKey (which I believe your already using?)

Perhaps some kind sole will provide a script for you.

I did my own damn script! ;)

If you want the numlock to be turned on/off during GameEx start/exit just add the .exe's in my zipfile to your:

Configuration -> Tweaks/Performance -> Launch on startup / Launch on exit fields
