Help with PCSX2 and dullDC

HI guys I need help with PCSX2 is there a way to make the program log go away? or make PCSX2 window always on top?

and with Dulldc make the blue screen go away the one right before the game starts up?

Regarding PCSX2, are you starting the emulator in full screen? And if so does the output window still appear on top of the full screen display?

That's the one! Thank you! I just downloaded the emulator for testing but you had beat me to it.

The following are from memory so they are untested. These are settings that need to be changed from the default.

[nullDC]
Emulator.AutoStart=1
Emulator.NoConsole=1

[nullDC_GUI]
Fullscreen=1

[ImageReader]
LoadDefaultImage=1

Other settings depend on your system and settings. But these should launch cleanly within GameEx fullscreen with the command-line mentioned in the previous posts.

I'm away from my gaming rig ATM, so I'm unable to test this out. OTOH, I pretty much take fReq's advice as gospel so do with that what you will. I'd recommend making a backup of your nulldc.cfg before making any edits. Let us know how this goes for you!

Also if these emulators are set correctly to run fullscreen, then in Setup Wizard make sure that the Show Desktop setting is set to No in Advanced Emulator Setup.

Thanks for the help but fReq's advice was already done on my nulldc it works but I would like to make it seamless. PCSX2 works ok as well but trying to make it seamless. I do have it running fullscreen and I did put No on show desktop but all I get is a black screen?

If you're getting a black screen and nothing else then that means fullscreen settings are not set correctly or something. Here's the details of that setting:

ShowDesktop will allow the Desktop to be shown instead of a black screen. Unless the application is a full screen DirectX Application or if you just get a black screen set ShowDesktop to True.

If you are unsure of how to do this, please follow these directions.

Go to the Emulator Selection screen in the Setup Wizard. You'll see a column of 6 buttons between the two main panels. The bottom button in that column is the Export Emulator(s) button. Highlight the emulator you'd like to export in the left hand panel and click the Export Emulator(s) button. You will then be prompted as to where you'd like to save the emulator config file. That's the file that you would upload here.

Try the following:

pcsx2-r4600.exe --fullscreen --nogui "[ROMPATH]\[ROMFILE]"

Some variation of that might give you the results you seek. Hard to tell as I can't see your screen and not knowing exactly what you want to accomplish. Best to look at all command line settings for this emulator.
