So I enabled scan subfolders for the turbogfx cd emulator (magic engine) and since I've done so it no longer shows up in the gameex menu. I've looked to see if I disabled it in the menu by mistake but that didn't work. I even set everything to default just to make sure. I've restarted the program about 10 times no trying different settings and disabling scan subfolders to no avail. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance guys!

Best thing you can do is export the emu config so we can have a look.

OK!

First off, are your games in 7-Zips inside folders?

2nd, don't think it matters here but shouldn't your command line be: pce.exe [-VIRTUALDRIVE-]:\ "syscard3.pce"

Maybe not?

My games are in zip files inside folders, I am actually trying to remedy that by unzipping them. I am not sure about the command line, if that's the case I will change it. I just haven't gotten that far yet. I was in the process of trying to make it so gameex could find the roms inside the subfolders but after turned on the look in subfolders option turbogfx cd completely disappeared from the gameex menu so I can't even access the folder at all from gameex. It's just not showing up and I'm not sure why.

Ahh I see.

Sadly I don't use that feature (it was not working for along time and only sub-recently re-added) so maybe it's the problem with that option. Put a game in the root ROM directory and unselect that option and see if your emulator comes back?

It looks like all of your path names have a mix of forward and backslashes. There should only be backslashes ( \ ) in the pathways of your hard drive. That's probably why GameEx can't find the emulator...

Thank you, I will check that out. I only have the issue with turbogfx cd but I will try it and get back to you.

Adultery, I tried your suggestion but sadly it didn't work. I will report back soon. I apologize for taking so long to respond I havent been around. I'm on vacation!:)
