Hey Guys,

So my cab has some pretty nice gear in it.

21 inch Arcade Monitor

Asus rampage x48 formula

Xenon 5.2 ghz dual core (on air rock solid)

Hyperx 4gb 1044 DDr2

Corsair PSU

Mid ranged Graphics card.

Looking to buy the Performance Enhanced RV630 512Mb Version,

However is this worth the money anyone used one?

Pros?

Cons?

Was looking at either this or a Gtx260 or higher

IS the only pro about this card the fact that its native 15htz ?

$80 seems like alot for such a primitive card not sure i wanna fork out for it if im not going to gain anything more other then native 15hz res,

the main advantage is to drive a arcade-tv-monitor, which you cant with a "normal" grafics-card. i would not recommend to use soft32 unless you are exactly knowing what are you doing. because you can destroy your equipment with wrong settings and this can happen really fast .

a other advantage is your allready mentioned native resolution, which result in crisper grafics, as seen on the homepage. you can achieve nearly same results, with bilinear filtering and a pre-scale higher than 4.

so unless you plan to build your own arcade-cab with a arcade-tv in it, i would say you dont need it.

kool thanks, yeah i ahve a 21inch WG and its been running soft15 for awhile now no issues,

Think i might just fork out and get it
