Where can I download map files for FB Alpha and cps3, I deleted mine by accident.

So how'd you like it? The response has been underwhelming at best so far.

Great tool, Nice friendly UI, Clear and precise, and did exactly what it's supposed to do, I've only used it for 1 romset but will use it for more, I will take a more in depth look into it soon, I've actually had the program in my GameEx folder for a while but didn't need it until now.

Great. :)

If you have any suggestions pass em along and I'll add em in.

@Adultery,

I was in the middle of using gimp and paint then I opened your Map file maker and it wouldn't open a romset(it kept freezing) I closed down gimp and paint and reopened map file maker and it worked, so I retried it with gimp and paint open and it froze again, how weird?

I don't know if it's a bug or my machine, but saying that though, my pc is relatively quick but does lag when too many things are open.

I don't know what would be causing this. It's freezing while building the list or after you launch it? How many files are in the rom set you're working on? Are you using a naming scheme (ie TOSEC, NoIntro, etc)?

Maybe it's the loop through all the files in that folder bogging it down if it's a really big set? It really shouldn't matter since that happens on a separate thread. It wouldn't freeze as much as it would go slow. Maybe try not running paint (GIMP should be fine) and see if it works? I really don't know what else to suggest.

I think it was a No-Intro Commodore 64 set, roughly about 1000 files, when I click the option to select romset it freezes. But I noticed something else aswell that may contribute to it, when I use task manager to close the map file maker process there are 6 or 7 GIMPs running but only 1 is present on the desktop, I will reinstall GIMP and retry map file maker with GIMP and Paint open.

I have also run a security check but all was clear.

I have now reinstalled Gimp and now there is no freezing at all.

Awesome. :)

Glad you figured it out. ;)
